Festive Season Changes 2018/19

During this festive season, MyCiTi will provide extra services on routes serving popular beaches, a special holiday service to the beach at Silwerstroomstrand in Atlantis, as well as more buses on the free Table Mountain shuttle service. There will also be fewer services during the weekday peak hours.

City improves MyCiTi service with more direct routes, 29 new bus stops

The City of Cape Town recently conducted a comprehensive review of the MyCiTi bus service. As a result, a number of changes will take effect on 27 October 2018 when we will introduce routes to new destinations as well as more direct routes with fewer transfers, and 29 new bus stops.

MyCiTi taking senior citizens places

Senior citizens who belong to the Living Legends, a Table View Seniors’ Club, use the MyCiTi bus service for the majority of their monthly excursions. Many of the seniors live with their children, some in retirement villages and some in their own homes.
