Cape Town Marathon, Saturday 19 October and Sunday 20 October 2024
Our services will be impacted by road closures for the annual Cape Town Marathon on Saturday 19 October and Sunday 20 October 2024.
Saturday
- Route 104 will not operate on Saturday from start of service until 08:00.
Sunday
- Route 102 will not operate on Sunday from start of service until 12:30.
- Route 104 will not operate on Sunday from start of service until 08:00.
- Routes 101, 103, 105, 106, 107, 111, 113 and 261 will not operate on Sunday from start of service until 13:00.
- Routes 108 and 109 will not operate on Sunday from start of service until 08:00.

V&A WATERFRONT UPGRADE WORKS
The Waterfront MyCiTi station will be unavailable from Tuesday 22 October until Thursday 28 November 2024 to accommodate road upgrades.
Passengers should use the temporary stop that will be placed outside the station on Breakwater Boulevard during this time.
Please note that the Waterfront station kiosk will remain open for passengers to continue buying their myconnect cards and loading value to travel.
ROUTE 106 and 113
Routes 106 and 113 will be affected by road closures for a Special Provincial Funeral and rehearsal at the St George’s Cathedral on:
- Thursday, 19 September 2024 from 18:00 until 21:00 and
- Saturday, 21 September 2024 from 09:00 until 14:00.

ROUTE 102 - SATURDAY 21 SEPTEMBER 2024
The Hanover Street stop on route 102 will be skipped in the direction of Civic Centre on Saturday 21 September 2024 from 10:00 to 11:30. Passengers can use the CPUT or Darling stops during this time.
STOPS AFFECTED ON ROUTES D03 AND D04 - FROM 22 AUGUST 2024
Several stops in Mitchells Plain serving routes will be affected by roadworks for approximately nine months from 22 August 2024. Affected passengers are requested to use the temporary public transport stops in order to access routes D03 and D04 during this time.
