Your baggage is welcome on our buses

Passengers are allowed to bring baggage on to the bus. With the holiday season coming closer, consider using MyCiTi to get to the Airport without the hassle of parking and traffic. Your wheels are welcome.

MyCiTi’s policy is to strive for universal access, which means accommodating all passengers. This means passengers may carry a certain items on board, such as suitcases, as well as shopping bags, prams, strollers, walking aids, bicycles, skateboards and surfboards.

The airport buses have special compartments for baggage, with the following restrictions. Items must be less than two metres long and 30 kg in weight. The passenger must be able to carry it unaided and it may not cause inconvenience to others. Passengers are requested to ensure that their baggage is stowed safely and securely.
