Several new stops will be introduced in Atlantis and one new stop added in Khayelitsha after assessing various community requests to make it easier and safer to catch the bus in these areas.

In Atlantis, passengers along routes 234 and 245 will benefit from one new stop each while routes 231 and 245 will be extended and new stops added in order to better serve passengers.

A new stop will also be added to route D02 in Khayelitsha to make it safer for passengers catching the bus along Ntlazane Street, between the Kuyasa and Oscar Mpetha stops.

Temporary poles will be used initially to test and confirm that the new stops are located in the safest and most convenient locations before permanent stops are built.

 Route D02

One new stop will be added to route D02 between the Kuyasa and Oscar Mpetha stops.

Route 236

Route 236 will be extended along Tsitsikamma Road instead of turning into Brenton Road, with two new stops being introduced. The existing Brenton stop will also be relocated a few metres to the intersection of Brenton and Tsitsikamma Roads.

Route 245

Route 245 will be realigned to travel via Hoogergeest and Ghika Streets to Hoop Cresecent, with one new stop introduced along the way.
