MyCiTi connects you to the Airport

MyCiTi connects you directly to Cape Town International Airport through its Airport service, which runs every 30 minutes from Civic Centre station.

Most great cities in the world have an excellent public transport service between the city centre and the airport. MyCiTi offers locals and visitors an affordable, convenient way to arrive at and depart from Cape Town without having to worry about traffic and parking.

Passengers wishing to use the A01 Airport service do not have to have a myconnect card. Single-trip cards are available for R90 from Civic Centre and Airport stations and allow you to make one journey anywhere on the MyCiTi network, including transfers to or from the Airport.

A great option for visitors or residents who travel a lot is the premium Monthly Pass for R930 which allows unlimited travel for a month anywhere on the MyCiTi network, including to and from the airport.

From Civic Centre station, passengers can transfer and connect easily to other routes in the network – from Atlantis in the north, Hout Bay in the south, and from Mitchells Plain and Khayelitsha in the east to Sea Point in the west. Level boarding makes getting suitcases on and off the bus a breeze.
