MyCiTi introduces myconnect vending machines

Passengers can look forward to less queuing and more convenience as MyCiTi trials two self-service vending machines.
The new vending machines have been installed at Adderley station and Century Gate, where passengers can buy a myconnect card, load Mover and Standard, and access other card services.
Passengers will also be able to load the new Monthly Pass from 1 July, offering unlimited travel anywhere on the system at any time of day.
The machines accept cash and issue change, while transactions of R90 or more can be paid securely using a credit or debit card.
A further eight machines will be rolled out to other stations and locations of high demand following the pilot.
To help passengers become familiar with the machines, the on-screen menu is available in English, Afrikaans and isiXhosa.
