Travel with MyCiTi is not only reliable and affordable but it’s versatile too. For cyclists, it provides opportunities to connect with the service to enjoy the growing number of cycle paths near our routes.

Cycling brings down the cost of travel and also improves your health and well-being, reducing the risk to the environment and providing a fun way of exploring your city.

Bring your bike on the bus from Table View station, then cycle to Sea Point and enjoy some time cycling or even relaxing at the Sea Point Pavilion. You can also grab a bite to eat at one of the many nearby restaurants.

Or park your bicycle at one of the many bicycle parking areas in the inner city while you visit Green Market Square or the Company’s Gardens. You can also take any one of a number of cycle pathways from the city centre and back. There is also a cycle pathway between Camps Bay and Hout Bay. There’ll be no shortage of buses to use on your return trip as MyCiTi operates between these areas.

Once you’re ready to go home, hop aboard a bus and let MyCiTi take you where you need to go.

Remember that you need a myconnect card to travel. Be sure to buy your myconnect card and load it with money at selected retailers and station kiosks. For once-off travel, you can also buy a single-trip card at R35 which is valid for one journey.
